Mornay Fish are the Ingredients for 5 servings 

  • 750 g of fish fillet 
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper 
  • 2 tablespoons of peppermint
  • salt, if needed 
  • 4 tablespoons butter 
  • 4 tablespoons of cubed cheese 
  • 1 1/2 cups milk 
  • 5 green onions 
  • 4 tablespoons flour 


How to cook a Mornay fish 

Step 1 

In the beginning, finely chop the mint leaves, and green onions. Now, take a pan and keep it on a medium-high heat. Melt the butter in a frying pan and add the flour mixture, and stir fry the flour for 7-8 minutes. Now, add in the milk, and mint leaves into the pan and cook over a low heat until the sauce mixture cooks. 

Step 2 

Once the sauce is boiling, remove the pan from the heat. Add to the fish along with the cheese, salt, pepper, and cheese for the future. 

Step 3 

Now, pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, and sprinkle with the remaining cheese and onions. 

Step 4 

Now, bake the mixture for 30 minutes at 170 ° c until the surface of the fish is brown. Remove the plate and serve hot with a salad.
